About N. Taylor Blanchard

Unlike most artists in the field of Fantasy and Science Fiction, Taylor Blanchard is primarily self taught. He received a Bachelor's degree in astrophysical sciences from Princeton University in 1977 and an MFA in stage design from New York University in 1980. He started painting in late 1980 and has been working as a professional illustrator since 1986. His work has appeared on the covers of books, magazines, games, and CDs in the United States, Germany, and Italy.

Taylor is married and resides in Boston with his wife Kathei and cats Onyx and Agate. He loves chocolate, motorcycles, the Grand Canyon, and the color red.
